What your day will look like….

As a midwife in our caseload model, you'll work closely with women, guiding them through every stage of their pregnancy, birth, and postnatal care. Your day is varied and engaging, as you provide safe, comprehensive care tailored to each woman's unique needs. You'll build strong, trusting relationships with your caseload families, ensuring they feel heard and supported throughout their journey. Collaboration is key, so you'll work alongside a multidisciplinary team, from obstetricians to child health nurses, to ensure the best possible outcomes for both mother and baby. You'll also have opportunities to mentor and support less experienced midwives, and engage in continuous learning and professional development. Whether you're providing hands-on care, planning and assessing individual care pathways, or advocating for the women in your care, your role will be central to the continuity and safety of the services we provide.
