The Women's Health Unit at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Clinical Nurse/Midwife Team Leader (Midwifery Group Practice) to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your opportunity
The Clinical Nurse/Midwife (Team Leader) provides advanced level clinical skills to ensure patient-focused evidence-based nursing/midwifery care, plans and coordinates the clinical management of patient/client care and provides leadership and support to other nursing/midwifery staff (Post Graduate Midwives) within Maternally Yours Midwifery Group Practice.
About the Team
Maternally Yours Midwifery Group Practice is an all-risk midwifery group practice that has been operating since 2015 comprised of post graduate midwives supported by an experienced midwifery team leader. All risk midwifery group practice enables consumers to have continuity of care throughout the antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal period.
