We are seeking a General Practitioner interested in specialising in Women’s Health 

We are seeking someone special who is an enthusiastic and capable General Practitioner with a specific interest in women’s health to join our committed team to provide quality medical services to a diverse and appreciative community in Hobart, Tasmania.

We require a clinician who is:

About the opportunity:

  • As a private billing practice  - you'll earn 65% of billings.

  • Registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), FRACGP/FACCRM.
  • Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Evidence of clinical expertise, demonstrated by recent experience in general practice.
  • Evidence of maintaining medical professional development and has the ability to assist other staff in the acquisition and development of knowledge.
  • Evidence of being a skilled communicator, including both oral and written skills, communicating with patients, other health professionals and the public. 
  • Evidence of being a collaborator, including the ability to network and operate within an interdisciplinary framework and to work with other stakeholders in a variety of settings. 
  • Evidence of being a professional, including continued professional development, peer review and other forms of clinical governance. 
  • Evidence of being an advocate, including contributions to improving individual and societal health.


All Tasmanian Health workers are required to provide a record of your COVID-19 vaccination status or evidence of medical exemption if successful.
