We are seeking a qualified ICU nurse to join a well established Intensive Care Unit and support the current team to ensure a high level of nursing care is maintained at all times. You will take accountability and responsibility for ensuring nursing practice is evidence based and maintain a positive & professional practice environment committed to excellence in patient healthcare.
This Intensive Care Unit is a five-bed unit providing 24-hour emergency services for the facility. There is a variety of medical conditions ranging from coronary care patients, complex medical and surgical patients, unwell infants and children and those who require close observation.
Our client is a public health facility located in Victoria's north-west, 300km's from Melbourne. The town is well serviced by a shopping centre, dining options, swimming pool and gymnasium. Enjoy the ability to explore the local indigenous heritage, art galleries and National Parks.
-Registered Nurses with current AHPRA registration
-Postgraduate qualification in critical care nursing
-ICU experience in an acute hospital
-Exceptional time management and communication skills
-A good understanding of the professional, ethical and legal requirements
