In the Medical Jobs Advertiser Console, you can upload a Company Logo and Company Ad Banner in your Account Settings. You can also chose to upload or select a unique Header Image to display on individual job ads. Follow the guidelines below to ensure your images are sized and displayed correctly:

  • Company Logo: Recommended maximum dimensions of 100 x 75 pixels in JPG or PNG format, no larger than 3MB.
  • Header Image/Company Ad Banner: Recommended maximum dimensions of 855 x 358 pixels in JPG or PNG format, no larger than 3MB.

Resizing and Compressing Your Images

To ensure proper display on Medical Jobs, you can resize and compress your images using online tools, if needed. We recommend Canva for resizing and proportional scaling of images, and Optimizilla for compressing large image files into smaller files while maintaining their quality.  

Step-by-Step Guide to Resizing and Proportional Scaling with Canva

  1. Set up Canva: Open a free Canva account if you haven’t already.
  2. Create a Custom Design:
    • Go to Create a New Design and select Custom Size.
    • For logos, enter Width: 100 px and Height: 75 px.
    • For header/banner images, enter Width: 855 px and Height: 358 px.
  3. Upload Your Image:
    • Click on Uploads to add your logo or header image to Canva.
  4. Adjust the Design:
    • Drag the image to fit within the custom design area; Canva preserves proportions to prevent distortion.
  5. Download the Resized Image:
    • Select Share > Download, and choose PNG or JPG format.
  6. Check File Size:
    • Right-click on the downloaded image file, select Properties, and ensure the file is under 3 MB (3000KB) - images that are larger than this need to be compressed to upload onto Medical Jobs.

Compressing Your Image with Optimizilla

  1. Open Optimizilla and upload your image file(s).
  2. Once uploaded, Optimizilla will compress the image - adjusting and reducing its file size while preserving its visual integrity. When you see a - number %, it has compressed your file(s).
  3. Click Download and save for uploading onto Medical Jobs.

 

Uploading Images in your Medical Jobs Advertiser Console

To add your resized and/or compressed images to display on your Medical Jobs job ad, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Medical Jobs Advertiser Console (or Register a new account)
  2. Go to Account Settings to upload your Company Logo and Company Ad Banner and click Save.
  3. Job-specific Header Images can be uploaded when creating a new job ad or editing an existing one. You can choose to upload your own file or select one from our Image Library.
