We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist to join our friendly and supportive team that is driven to embed innovative models of care. In this role you will extend your clinical skills by managing a varied and complex clinical caseload and you will enjoy opportunities to be involved in organisation wide working groups to progress BRHS patient care. You will have many opportunities for professional growth by being involved in process improvement activities, evaluation of physiotherapy service delivery and the provision of supervision and support to our Grade One Physiotherapists and students. With an organisational focus on professional development, your ongoing learning will be strongly supported through internal and external professional development opportunities and mentoring and peer support by our Allied Health Team Leaders.

  • Degree in Physiotherapy
  • Minimum 1 year in a Grade 2 clinician role in a comparable hospital setting.
  • Extensive clinical experience and specialist knowledge in a hospital and/or community setting with demonstrated clinical skills in acute neurological, musculoskeletal and cardiorespiratory physiotherapy
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients and ability to actively engage clients in their treatment
  • Demonstrated experience and ability to manage and prioritise a varied and demanding caseload.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary system with other health professionals to plan, implement and evaluate evidence based treatment and outcome goals for clients.
  • An understanding of and commitment to contemporary service delivery models of care that focus on person centered care.
