The Position

Skilled Medical are currently seeking a Surgical Registrar (allocated to Cardiothoracic and Neurosurgery) from 9 September to 9 December on a fixed term contract. There may be the possibility of a contract extension if there is are vacancies from December, but the department would not know this until around mid-August.

Health Service

A major regional teaching centre and tertiary hospital for a population of 900,000. They have 14 main theatres that provide anaesthetic services in, addition to delivery suite, radiology and radiotherapy.

Essential Criteria

You will have eligibility for general or provisional general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand. You will need to be a NZ or Australian citizen or resident, or have an appropriate visa to be eligible to live and work in NZ.
