An opportunity exists to join our friendly team at SOUTH COAST SPORTS MEDICINE, a busy multi-disciplinary private clinic in Albany, Western Australia. Graduates are welcome to apply. We are looking for the right person to start part-time ASAP, with the potential to build into a full-time position.

Purpose of the position:

To provide an exceptional standard of physiotherapy treatment and be primarily responsible for the successful performance of the physiotherapy component of the practice. To perform other tasks as required to ensure smooth and efficient functioning of the practice.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Individualised assessment, treatment and injury rehabilitation
  • Conducting small group exercise sessions
  • Involvement with promotional opportunities and public presentations
  • Design and assist with new initiatives
  • Maintain accreditation with proactive and ongoing Professional Development
  • Maintain effective communication with other Allied Health and Medical Professionals
  • General housekeeping throughout the practice including waiting room and kitchen to maintain a professional standard
  • Reception / office duties as directed by the Managing Director and Doctors

Essential skills and experience:

  • Ability to assess, diagnose and provide evidence-based treatment to a range of acute & chronic musculoskeletal injuries and conditions
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, administration staff, medical staff and other allied health practitioners
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as closely with your colleagues
  • Ability to plan continued learning and maintain professional development
  • To perform all duties in a pleasant and cooperative manner and with consideration to other team members

  • Senior First Aid and CPR Qualifications
