Purpose of Position

This role will be responsible for processing the day to day activities of the recruitment, advertising, appointments and other related recruitment / workforce functions for the medical staff of NBMLHD to support the efficient and effective operation of end to end recruitment and workforce transactions service, utilising numerous workforce operations systems.   This positions will provide coverage for reception and assist in all project work undertaken by the team.   The position holder will be pivotal in ensuring that recruitment and workforce transactions are completed effectively and efficiently, with high quality customer service.

Selection Criteria

Relevant experience working within HR, recruitment or a shared services environment for a large and complex organisation

Ability and preparedness in acquiring knowledge about / interpreting NSW Public Hospital Awards

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with management, staff and other external agencies utilising excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal, written and telephone) skills

Excellent time management and problem solving skills with the ability to work independently as part of a team environment

Attention to detail, analytical skills and excellent and accurate data entry skills

Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and effectively with a wide range of staff, providing strong customer service skills with a focused and responsive approach to managing enquiries

Previous on the job experience working with Mercury e-recruitment system and/or HRIS, including the Microsoft Office suite.
