Located next to the beautiful Auckland Domain, National Women’s Health at Auckland DHB is the largest maternity hospital in Australasia, with approximately 7,000 babies born each year.  It is a tertiary referral centre whilst also providing maternity care to women in the central Auckland area.

On the 9th floor you’ll find our Women’s Assessment Unit which provides 24 hours a day, 7 days a week acute care for women experiencing pregnancy and gynaecologic complications. Staff work alongside the multidisciplinary team that includes Obstetricians, LMCs, Social Workers, Lactation Consultants, Physiotherapists, Pharmacists, Dieticians as well as the Obstetric Medical team.
We currently have a vacancy for a Registered Nurse to join our wonderful, values driven team on a permanent basis.
To be considered for this position, the ideal candidate should have the following:-
  • NZ Nursing Registration AND a Valid Annual Practising Certificate
  • Women’s Health Nursing experience in New Zealand
  • Experience working in complex and highly demanding environment
  • Possess a “will do/can do” attitude
  • Ability to work independently but within a team environment
