Taylor Centre provides a multi-disciplinary, recovery focussed service for clients living in Central Auckland. The Care and Recovery Service provides a comprehensive range of therapeutic treatment options in collaboration with service users, their families/whānau, local communities and the Multi-Disciplinary Team within the CMHC. This is achieved through the assessment and management of the complex health needs of service users, with the provision of effectively planned care that supports them to manage their overall healthcare needs.
You will be responsible for your own caseload and also provide medical input to the rest of the multi-disciplinary team. You will see service users at the Centre, but will also be required to do home; community and GP based visits and liaison.
This role is one of 8 Consultant Psychiatry positions within this settled and supportive and professional team.
Current Vocational Registration or eligibility for Vocational Registration and Locum Tenens with the Medical Council of New Zealand (www.mcnz.org.nz), appropriate postgraduate qualifications, relevant training and experience is required.

This is a permanent, part time position working Monday to Friday based in Ponsonby. The minimum regular hours would be 0.7 FTE.
