About the Role
Casey Hospital Emergency Department is seeking an appropriately skilled and qualified registered nurse to join our management team. The Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) is integral to the running of the Emergency Department and is responsible for clinical governance, patient flow, allocation of resources and meeting quality of care targets.
Possess Post Graduate qualification in Emergency Nursing or Critical Care
Emergency Nursing experience
Sound clinical judgement and decision making skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and able to work within a large multidisciplinary team
Self-motivated and committed to ongoing professional development
Committed to Monash Health iCARE values and to providing a positive patient experience

Casey Hospital Expansion has commenced, with increased beds, theatres and the addition of an Intensive Care Unit, with an education precinct to provide additional training for medical, nursing and allied health students. This expansion is expected to be completed by 2019. This is a very exciting time for Casey Hospital, in particular the Emergency Department and its staff. It will lead to greater speciality bed access, resources and services we can offer our patients and the community.
