Purpose of Position
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for leading a contemporary HR service and for the implementation, coordination and provision of strategic, cultural and operational human resource management to Camden and Campbelltown Hospitals and SWSLHD community health services.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in human resources, employee relations, workforce management, employment law, other relevant field, or related work experience in human resource management in a large diverse service industry organisation.
Demonstrated experience in partnering with senior management to drive the implementation of strategic, transformational and/or cultural workforce initiatives, and in liaising, advising and negotiating effectively with key stakeholders including senior management, line managers, staff and industrial associations.
Demonstrated experience and professional knowledge in relevant employment and industrial relations legislation, principles of equity and diversity, child protection, WHS legislation, NSW Health industrial instruments, HR policies and procedures.
Extensive experience and proven competence in delivering high quality, timely client services that meet organisational objectives, and providing sensitive workforce advice and consultancy services in a complex environment.
Demonstrated experience in using high level analytical, problem solving and facilitation skills, including the ability to provide authoritative advice and recommendations across a large and complex organisation.
Extensive experience and proven competence in developing and implementing innovative and contemporary workforce policies, procedures and strategies.
High level interpersonal and communication skills, including demonstrated ability to prepare complex written documents including briefs and reports.
