Purpose of Position

To provide high quality information regarding Transport for Health - IPTAAS to address accessibility to specialist medical treatment to people in isolated and remote communities through the provision of financial assistance towards travel and accommodation costs.   Participate in administrative workloads to ensure maximum delivery and be thoroughly familiar with all aspects of administrative procedures in the IPTAAS Office, including liaising with a diverse range of clients, community and other services to obtain information relevant to the Scheme.

Selection Criteria

Demonstrated excellent reception skills including previous reception and clerical experience in a clinical environment.

Ability to use a wide range of computer hardware, software and electronic systems to complete work activities.

Demonstrated ability to exhibit excellent customer relations, effective interpersonal skills, liaison and problem solving skills.

Demonstrated experience in providing administration support including a proven capacity to operate effectively in a team environment demanding confidentiality and discretion at all times.

Demonstrated ability to prioritise busy workload to meet the demands of the team; and demonstrated ability to use initiative and work without supervision when required.

Demonstrated knowledge and experience using medical terminology.
