Purpose of Position

To contribute to the Northern NSW ACAT through the provision of administrative and clerical support to staff and management, the provision of reception duties, attendance at team meetings and participation in team decision making incorporating planning and review, and the provision of information to the public regarding community services.

Selection Criteria

Demonstrated excellent reception, office management, and client service skills.

Demonstrated experience in computerised client registration and scheduling databases

Demonstrated proficiency in word processing and formatting using computer programs and software applications such as Microsoft Excel, MS Word, Email and internet (the preferred application is the Microsoft suite however experience with other application is considered relevant)

Ability to work autonomously and function effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team

An understanding and knowledge of Aboriginal social, cultural and economic issues and cross cultural communication skills

Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills and understanding of confidentiality

An understanding of how to apply primary health care principles in a community health setting

Valid unrestricted drivers licence for use in NSW/Australia
