We are seeking an General Practitioner to provide competent and compassionate primary care services to our patients. Applicants may prefer full-time or part-time with the potential for shared business ownership. Our busy practice has two DWS sites and offers an initial minimum guarantee and assistance with relocation. An applicant with Fellowship may wish to assist with registrar teaching, remunerated via a percentage of the registrar earnings. We have weekly educational and peer support breakfast meetings and senior doctors available for 1-on-1 training or for support with individual cases. Our practice has helped numerous registrars or International Medical Graduates secure their Fellowship.
We are honoured to be among the 680 practices nation-wide invited to be part of the National Prescribing Service's Medicine Insight quality improvement program. Our practice is affiliated with the University of Newcastle Medical Faculty for teaching and research purposes.
- We have weekly doctor’s breakfast meetings at a local café to discuss clinical problems or to discuss journal articles.
- This position is suitable for doctors subject to the moratorium and requiring a DWS location.
- Support for non-VR'd GP's to pursue ACRRM independent pathway and RACGP Practice Experience Program - to enable access to full VR rebate.
- A one month guaranteed minimum can be discussed and you will have the potential to earn income to earn $300K+.
About the Location:
The Manning area has a population of approx. 45,000. It is a 3½ hour drive to Sydney and 2 hours to Newcastle; alternatively flights are available. Harrington is a growing community with excellent family friendly surfing beaches.
