We are committed to our vision of 'better health services for the people of western Sydney and beyond' and to the delivery of health care or related services in line with our core values of collaboration, openness, respect and empowerment.

What you'll be doing
Child Wellbeing Coordinator positions are an initiative arising out of the recommendations of the Wood Special Commission of Inquiry into Child Protection in NSW and the NSW Government response: Keep Them Safe; a shared approach to child wellbeing 2009-2014 (KTS). The Coordinator positions have three key roles:
  • Advise, support and educate Mandatory Reporters to help them determine the level of risk to a child or young person and to plan what initial action may need to occur, including ensuring all suspected risk of significant harm (ROSH) matters are reported to the Child Protection Helpline
  • Identify potential responses by the agency or other services to assist the child or young person or family
  • Over time, drive better alignment and coordination of agency service systems

The position sits within the Integrated Violence Prevention & Response Service (IVPRS).
