Location: Newcastle Community Health Service
We are looking for a motivated and dedicated Social Worker to join the newly established Youth Drug and Alcohol team in Newcastle.
As a core member of the multidisciplinary team, you will be expected to provide evidence based clinical interventions to young people (18 years and under) referred to the service who present with moderate to severe substance use problems and complex comorbidities.
This exciting opportunity to be part of a new service, provides great opportunities to develop, enhance and facilitate the support of our young clients through the range of services provided by Youth DACS and the broader service system.
The position is based within Youth DACS service in the beautiful coastal city of Newcastle, however will also provide a HNE Local Health District wide service through consultation and telehealth options.
An eligibility list will be created for future similar vacancies, both permanent and temporary.
