What you'll be doing

The Learning and Development Specialist will be responsible for implementing and enhancing the learning and development strategy and plans for the eMR Connect program. This position is expected to establish strong links between change management, communications and support local health district training teams in implementing training strategies for eMeds rollout and newly developed eMR functionality.

You will have the following skills and attributes:
  1. Qualification in Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent and extensive experience in eLearning in a large and complex/diverse service organization.
  2. Strong knowledge and practical experience in [Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation (ADDIE) model, developing videos, live training sessions and webinars].
  3. Demonstrated ability in developing training materials and strong interest in using innovative tools such as eLearning authoring tools (including Adobe Storyline and Captvate, Microsoft Office, Learning Management Systems or other learning development tools), design software and/or mobile applications
  4. Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills with proven capacity to develop, implement and promote eLearning initiatives, including the ability to synthesize information from various sources, manage change and project manage to tight deadlines.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal, listening, negotiation skills and previous facilitation experience.
  6. Proven engagement, collaboration and negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to build, maintain and use relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  7. Capacity and willingness, including valid driver’s licence recognised in NSW, to travel to NSW Health business and service locations, which may include overnight stay in regional/remote areas.
