About the opportunity
Current vacancy exists due to maternity leave for a 1 day
per week position within the Medical Imaging nursing team. Additional days will
also be available in times of increased activity or leave relief.
The enrolled nurse position within Medical Imaging provides
a broad introduction for EENs to assisting scrub/scout cases, cannulation
competency and a wide variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for
patients within our LHD.

What you'll be doing
The Enrolled Nurse is an integral part of the multidisciplinary
healthcare team, working under the direction and supervision of the Registered
Nurse to support and provide quality care for patients/clients.

authority to practice as an Enrolled Nurse with Medical Endorsement, with
the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
ability to practice in accordance with the Enrolled Nursing Standards of
Practice, Code of Ethics for Nurses, and Code of Professional Conduct for
Nurses (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia).
effective clinical communication through the use of information
technology, written and verbal means; and sound interpersonal skills
including the ability to communicate with a diverse range of people.
understanding of patient centred care and demonstrated ability to work
effectively as part of the multi-disciplinary health care team.
ability to effectively prioritise and organise own workload within the
scope of practice.
clinical experience relevant to the position, and the ability to
administer medications within scope of practice.
