About the Role
We have an opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our Southern Cross Care Team in Broome, a leading Aged Care service provider in Western Australia on a casual basis.
Working under the direction of a Lifestyle Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to apply your skill and experience, in collaboration with key stake holders and health care professionals, to improve the safety and independence of our residents by providing support in the areas of self-care, daily living skills, diversional and other rehabilitation activities.
The shift times are Monday to Friday with a weekend shift on an adhoc basis may be required.
To be successful for this role, you will need to have:
- Previous working experience in aged care
- A passion for providing only the very best in person-centred care to our clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A flexible approach to optimise resident care
- Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance (or equivalent)
