Purpose of Position
The position oversees the placement of purchase orders with suppliers; ensure the timely delivery and compliance within the service partnership agreements and government related regulations.
Relevant certificate and/or demonstrated relevant experience in Procurement and Logistics related tasks particularly in purchasing processes in a large complex organisation.
Working knowledge of government regulations as they pertain to purchasing.
Experience with spreadsheet, database and word processing applications.
Demonstrated commitment to the provision of high level quality and customer focused services.
Understanding of accounts payable fundamentals in relation to Procurement and Logistic services.
Demonstrated experience with a Financial Management Information System (FMIS) such as Oracle or similar
Sound interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team or independently.
Good analytical and problem solving skills.
